Johan Nyström-Persson is the founder and principal scientist of JNP Solutions. He completed his PhD in computer science (programming languages) at the University of Tokyo in 2012, and a BSc at Imperial College London in 2006. With a lifelong passion for programming, he has worked as a software developer, researcher and consultant, in a variety of fields including genomic data analysis, finance, semantic web and linked data, and database engineering.

JNP Solutions is based in Sumida City, Tokyo, Japan.
